Alle Tiere die wir hier zeigen sind ausschließlich im Laden zu beziehen. Derzeit ist keine Bestellung über den Onlineshop möglich. Im Laden sind auch weitere Tiere erhältlich die hier (noch) nicht gelistet sind. Wir bemühen uns nach und nach die meisten Tiere abzubilden, die wir regelmäßig im Laden anbieten können.

Solltest du von weiter weg kommen, ruf gerne vorher an um zu fragen ob die Tiere auch da sind.
Nicht alle Tiere sind immer auf Lager oder zur Abgabe.
Im Onlineshop sind keine Reservierungen oder Bestellungen möglich.

Beschreibung

Die Amanogarnele – Caridina multidentata, ehemals Caridina japonica, verdanken ihren Namen der Aquascaping Legende Takashi Amano der sie in quasi allen seinen Naturaquarien verwendet. Sie ist einer der effektivsten Algenfresser und daher auch für uns in jedem Aquarium Teil der Cleaningcrew.

Die Amanogarnele wächst ihr Leben lang, wobei die Weibchen mit ca. 8cm deutlich größer werden als die Männchen (ca.5 cm). Ausgewachsene Garnelen sind nicht nur an ihrer Größe sondern auch am markanten Punkt-Strich Muster am Körper zu erkennen. Beim Männchen besteht die untere Reihe aus relativ klaren Punkten, beim Weibchen aus ineinander übergehende, nicht deutlich erkennbaren Punkten.
Meist haben sie einen bläulichen Schimmer, der aber je nach Futter auch stark variieren kann.

Herkunft und Lebensraum

Die Amanogarnele stammt aus dem südlichen Zentraljapan im Mittel- und Oberlauf von Flüssen die in den Pazifik münden.

Vermehrung

Amanogarnelen können sich nicht im Süßwasser vermehren. Die Larven werden im Süßwasser freigegeben und von der Strömung ins Meer transportiert. Dort entwickeln sich die Larven und wandern nach abgeschlossener Entwicklung zurück in die Flussläufe.

Eine Vermehrung im Gesellschaftsaquarium ist also ausgeschlossen.

Fütterung

Amanogarnelen sind alles Fresser, sie ernähren sich von Algen, abgestorbenen Pflanzenteilen, aber auch von jeglichem Fischfutter und auch tote Lebewesen werden nicht verschmäht. In einem gut bepflanzten Aquarium muss in der Regel nicht zugefüttert werden. Der Darm der Garnele ist recht gut einsehbar und sollte dauerhaft durchgehend gefüllt sein. Nur wenn das nicht der Fall ist muss zugefüttert werden.

Haltung

Amanogarnelen sollten im Gesellschaftsaquarium ausreichend Struktur finden um sich bei der Häutung oder bei Stress verstecken zu können. Eine Vergesellschaftung mit friedlichen Fischen ist bis zu einer gewissen Größe in der Regel kein Problem.

Man sollte Amanogarnelen zumindest in einer kleinen Gruppe ab 8 Tieren halten. Größere Gruppen sind kein Problem. Wir empfehlen ca. 1-2 Tiere pro Zehn Liter in einem Gesellschaftsaquarium.

Empfohlene Pflegeprodukte

Garnelen können Mineralien nur in fester Form aufnehmen, nicht über die Wassersäule. Daher empfehlen wir für alle Garnelen die Zugabe eines Mineralpulvers wie Mironekuton um Problemen bei der Häutung vorzubeugen.

Wenn du deine Garnelen gezielt zufüttern möchtest, empfehlen wir ein Garnelenfutter wie das Oase Organix Shrimp oder Glasgarten Shrimp Dinner.
